DIY Chalkboard Labels

These are so easy (and there may even be an easier way to do this) but I NEEDED labels on Lauren's toy bins. I am so OCD that anytime anyone else puts her toys away it makes me crazy because they are not put where they go. I know- I am a pain! Anyways, in keeping with the butterfly theme, I decided to do little butterfly chalkboard labels that are tied on to each bin with ribbons.

Here is what you will need:

1. Chalkboard Sheets (found at Michaels)
2. Corkboard Shapes (these ones are stickers and found at Michaels)
3. Scissors
4. Pencil
5. Single Hole Punch
6. Ribbon
7. Chalk
8. Sharpie

Take your cork form and 1 sheet of the chalkboard and trace the shape.

Cut out your shape.

Now because I used a cork shape, I wanted the edges to be black. So I took a sharpie and colored the edges so it would blend with the chalk sheet once it was applied.

Next peel off the sticky back to the chalk sheet and apply it to your cork form.

Hole punch at the top and thread some ribbon through. And tie it to the bin.

So I did this last week when I was sick and am sad to admit I only got a few done. So the rest will be finished soon and everything will always be in its' place . . .right!
