It's All In The Details.

I have been talking about doing this since my very first post on this blog and now I am finally sharing. I believe in the details. Don't you? I think people notice and can see the thought and effort that is put forth to create a complete image, feeling, moment. The details are what I live for as a designer. I think you can not be a good designer if you do not take note of every detail. That is what makes people feel like you get them and that you know them. For this reason I have become obsessed with all these blogs on design and parties. I LOVE the attention to detail that all you ladies have and I feel like I have finally meet people that get my OCD. So here is a little treat for you that of course was so special to my heart and I hope you enjoy. . .the details.

I hope you enjoyed a little piece of my heaven!

  8. Thanks so much for being willing to give me some "details" suggestions! I am good at planning the big things (venue, photographer, etc), but I need some creative inspiration for the "little things" (that really aren't little at all!). We're having a long engagement, so I have PLENTY of time to invest in some projects that will really personalize our wedding and make it more special.

Red is our main color right now, with yellow accents. We haven't done much with our colors yet, so I am certainly open to using other colors along with our main red+yellow combo. It's a July wedding; the ceremony is in a lovely Methodist church and the reception is in a ballroom in a historic building downtown (so more urban). We really haven't planned anything in terms of decor yet, so I am completely open!

If you ever want to e-mail me rather than posting back and forth, you can reach me at marginaliabyamy@gmail.com.

You're so great to be offering your creative insight!
