A Little Bit of Red & Turquoise From Me to You!

Finally here are the pictures of the Christmas decorations I did this year. Turquoise (as mentioned in other posts) is one of my favorite colors. I used it with red throughout our house and mixed it with pink for Lauren's room. Amy, from my office, made all these amazing ribbons that I draped on the tree and on any other place I could attach them. My husband said that the tree looks like a present now!

I added one of the ribbon bows to the top of my entry table lamp too.

I wrapped my candles with ribbons and hung red ornaments with turquoise and black & white ribbon from my angel.

On my coffee table I have these white coral bowls I had gotten from our wedding and I put a large silver crackle ornament in the large one with one of Amy's bows.

I also love apothecary jars filled with ornaments and this year I did all silver and red. I put these on my front table, in my secretary, and on our bay window.

And this is the lantern that hangs in my breakfast nook all decked out with ribbons, of course!

Here is Lauren's tree in her bedroom. We bought it last year and add an ornament every year for her. One day when she gets married these will be for her tree.

And of course we had to put one on her door!

White and silver are the perfect accent color for whatever you are trying to mix in. Every year I always start with that base and then choose a new theme color for the year. The best way to change your color scheme each year is with ribbons and glass balls. And the best time of year to buy these for the next year is now. Michael's has glass balls and ribbons right now for 40-60% off. Take advantage now!! I wish everyone a blessed Christmas! See you soon.
